For contemporary artist Phil Epp and the exhibition: Phil Epp: Recent Paintings, we incorporated a wide format to best compliment the expansive nature of Epp’s landscape paintings of his native state, Kansas. Our agency also created a web graphic for the website to help promote a consistent brand by implementing elements from the print collateral.
With Armin Landek: Master Printmaker, we began by creating a logo mark as a tribute to the architectural nature of Armin Landek’s oeuvre. Landek often used New York as a backdrop to examine the theme of isolation and alienation of modern urban life. Our choice of a metallic ink for the cover added to the contemporary feel of the piece and to the interplay of shadow and light with the black and white images.
